Back in May we held a wonderful styled shoot at the gorgeous Pontlands Park wedding venue in Chelmsford. The new bridge there over the water made for the most stunning shots. The whole venue and team are absolutely fantastic. There are so many places for lovely photo opportunities and the friendliest staff on hand to help.
We chose a few beautiful dresses from our collection and wanted to show them off in all their glory. We also included a groom, the lovely Adam, partnering with the wonderful Slaters Menswear, who provided the suits.
We then used an amazing local makeup artist named Justine Warwick, who is always able to bring out the beauty of our models features in the most wonderful and natural way. Our hair stylist was the lovely Clare Louise, a local bridal hairstylist and hairdresser at Silhouette du Barry. The styles were stunning and complimented each dress perfectly.
Our photographer was the fantastic Emma of Bloomwood Photography, who always knows how to capture the most wonderful and romantic shots. Emma positioned and coached our models amazingly, to ensure we were able to get the best pictures to show off our lovely dresses, suits and the hair and make-up.
We decided a sunset shoot would be dreamy and we shot for hours, up until 10pm! This allowed us to capture some daylight, night time and sunset shots, which worked perfectly and looked amazing. Even if we were freezing! We even managed to use some coloured smoke bombs, which worked a treat and brought an exciting element into the pictures.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Lisa at the rest of the team at Pontlands Park, for allowing us to hold our shoot there and for being so hospitable. We also are so grateful to all our suppliers and models, your dedication is very much appreciated and we couldn’t have done it without you.
