We have teamed up with the wonderful Emma from Bloomwood Photography to give our brides the best advice when it comes to choosing a photographer for your Wedding Day. She has photographed so many of our styled shoots for our boutique and we think she is amazing!
There is no doubt that the photography is one of the most important parts of your day and that is why it is so important to find the right person for the job.
We asked Emma for her top tips to help you make the right decision:
1 – It is really important to choose a photographer that is right for you and your wedding. Meet with several photographers to make sure you choose the right one for you. A friendly and down to earth photographer that you and your guests will feel at ease with, who will blend into your wedding and capture your day in a more relaxed way.
2 – You like their style of photography: Find a style you like and find a photographer that edits their photos in the style you love.
3 – Ask to see a complete edited wedding. Any photographer can show you a few impressive photos, but you want to see consistency and photos that tell a story of a beautiful day.
4 – Trust and faith: Knowing you can trust your photographer to get the photos you want, will put you at ease and let you enjoy your day.
5 – Experience: Ask how many weddings they have photographed and how long they have been a wedding photographer. If they have been a wedding photographer for years, make sure their style has moved with the times.
6 – Reviews and recommendations: Take a look at the reviews they have received from previous couples.
